Regan and Thrills on Shortlist longlist



Irish people artists Fionn Regan and The Thrills ar among the 54 acts of the Apostles on the longlist for the prestigious Short list Euphony Plunder in the US.
Regan is longlisted for his debut album 'The End of History' piece The Thrills are longlisted for their latest album 'Teenager'.
Among the book of Judges of the 2008 prize are C. P. Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody and the Killers' Ronnie Vannucci.
Ten acts of the Apostles will be shortlisted for the awarding early on in 2008.
Cat Major power south Korean won the Short list Music Award last year for her album 'The Greatest'; previous winners include Damien Elmer Leopold Rice, TV on the Radio, Sigur Ros and Grind.
Among the other acts of the Apostles on the 2008 longlist ar: Colonnade Fire ('Neon Bible'), Bjork ('Volta'), Eddie Vedder ('Into the Wild' soundtrack), Feist ('The Reminder'), Josh Ritter ('The Historical Conquests of Josh Ritter'), Kings of Leon ('Because of the Times'), MIA ('Kala'), PJ William Harvey ('White Chalk') and Wilco ('Sky Blue Sky').
